Cleveland Cavaliers bolster roster with addition of Jeff Green

Jeff Green is a Cleveland Cavalier. The Cavs signed Green, who formerly played for the Orlando Magic. He averaged nine points and three rebounds and played an average of 22 minutes a game for the Magic last season.

In his entire career so far, he has averaged 13.5 points and 4.7 rebounds. According to, Green spoke with LeBron James and had “active discussions” prior to signing with Cleveland. Green will add more versatility and stability as he, alongside Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson will bring a sense of veteran leadership and mentorship to the young roster.
