After ending their season-long 12-game losing streak against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, the Orlando Magic remain at home as they look to head into All-Star Weekend on a two-game winning streak. On Wednesday, they welcome a Southeast Division foe, the Atlanta Hawks, to the Amway Center.
The Hawks (28-22) are coming off a 105-101 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday in a contest that saw Josh Smith score 26 points to go with 13 rebounds and six assists, Al Horford notch 21 points and 10 rebounds and Jeff Teague tally 20 points and dish out nine assists. Devin Harris (15 points) and Kyle Korver (10 points) also finished in double figures in scoring, while Zaza Pachulia had eight points and 10 boards.
Orlando (15-36) was led by J.J. Redick's 22-point effort in Sunday's 110-104 defeat of Portland, while Nikola Vucevic totaled 17 points and 19 rebounds, Gustavo Ayon recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, Andrew Nicholson and Arron Afflalo scored 14 points each and Jameer Nelson registered 10 points and 15 assists.
"You always need wins. There is no better feeling in sports than winning and there is no worse feeling in sports than losing," Redick said after Sunday's victory. "The losing wears on you, so any win right now is great for us."
Wednesday's game begins at 7:00 pm on FS Florida.
