With the NBA season around its halfway point, the Miami Heat are sitting pretty, as expected. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the rest of the Heat currently have a 28-13 record, which puts them 4 1/2 games ahead of the second-place Atlanta Hawks, who are 25-19 at the moment.

Despite dropping five consecutive games and 16 of their last 18, the Orlando Magic are in third place with a 14-29 mark, 15 games behind the Heat and 10 1/2 games behind Atlanta. The Washington Wizards, who have won their last two games, sit 2 1/2 games behind the Magic. They have posted an 11-31 record, while the fifth-place Charlotte Bobcats are currently 11-32 and just 1/2 game behind Washington.

Miami is at Brooklyn on Wednesday, while Atlanta hosts Toronto. Orlando's next game is tonight at Brooklyn, with Washington welcoming Sacramento to town and Charlotte traveling to Chicago.
