Following a pair of six-point losses, the Orlando Magic hit the road for a matchup with the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Pistons (15-25) are coming off a 103-88 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday in a game that saw Andre Drummond score 16 points to go with seven rebounds, while Greg Monroe, Brandon Knight and Will Bynum tallied 15 points each, with Monroe adding 11 rebounds and Knight adding six assists. Tayshaun Prince finished with 14 points and Kyle Singler notched 13 points and eight boards.
Orlando (14-26) lost to the Dallas Mavericks 111-105 on Sunday despite 24 points, six rebounds and six assists from Glen Davis, 20 points and six rebounds from Jameer Nelson, 18 points from J.J. Redick, 16 points and six rebounds from Arron Afflalo and 14 points and 11 rebounds from Nikola Vucevic.
“We have to come up with a solution together," Nelson said following Sunday's defeat. "I said it earlier, the one thing we’re doing is sticking together. Nobody is separating nobody outside the box in terms of our team. And we’re doing things as a team, it’s frustrating sometimes.”
Tuesday's game starts at 7:30 pm on FS Florida.
