After winning two of their last three games, the Orlando Magic look to knock off one of the two teams that's looking up at them in the Southeast Division when they host the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday at the Amway Center.
Charlotte (9-29) lost to the Indiana Pacers by a 103-76 final on Tuesday despite 15 points from Gerald Henderson and 13 points apiece from Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions. Ben Gordon added seven points, Bismack Biyombo had five points and six rebounds, and Jeffery Taylor totaled five points.
The Magic (14-24) defeated those same Pacers 97-86 on Wednesday, paced by 16 points and 15 rebounds from Nikola Vucevic, 15 points from Arron Afflalo, 14 points and six assists from both Jameer Nelson and J.J. Redick, and 11 points from Glen Davis, the latter of whom said this regarding his play in his second game since returning from the separated right shoulder he suffered on December 19th:
"I played 25 minutes? Felt like 50 minutes. I have to come in here tomorrow and get my wind up a little bit. Second half, the rust started to come, felt the rust. I got out of the excitement mode and more into the rust. Got to get back to work."
Friday's game begins at 7:00 pm on FS Florida.
