Game Previews: Golden State Warriors at Orlando Magic, Magic at Charlotte Bobcats, Minnesota Timberwolves at Magic

The Orlando Magic begin a stretch of three games in four days on Friday, as they prepare to host the surprising Golden State Warriors at the Amway Center. On Saturday they travel to face the Charlotte Bobcats at Time Warner Cable Arena, while they return home for a matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.

Golden State (15-7) currently sits just one game behind the Los Angeles Clippers for first place in the Pacific Division. In a 102-94 loss to Orlando on December 3rd, the Warriors got 25 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds from Stephen Curry, 22 points and nine rebounds from David Lee, and 17 points from Jarrett Jack.

The Bobcats (7-15) were two games over .500 and ahead of the Magic in the Southeast Division before a 10-game losing streak, which they will look to break against Orlando. Kemba Walker is leading the Bobcats at 17.5 points per game and 6.0 assists per game, while Ramon Sessions is averaging 14.4 PPG, Ben Gordon is scoring 13.5 PPG, and Gerald Henderson is notching 12.9 PPG. Byron Mullens (11.8 PPG and 7.4 rebounds per game) and rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (10.9 PPG and 6.4 RPG) are also averaging double figures.

Minnesota (10-9) is at the New Orleans Hornets tonight before hosting the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday and hitting the road again to take on Orlando on Monday. In their first meeting with the Magic on November 7th, the Timberwolves won 90-75 behind 19 points from Luke Ridnour, 14 points and six rebounds from Derrick Williams, 12 points from Greg Stiemsa, 11 points from Nikola Pekovic, and 10 points from Chase Budinger.

Orlando (8-13) lost to the Atlanta Hawks 86-80 on Wednesday despite 16 points from Arron Afflalo, 13 points from J.J. Redick, 12 points from Jameer Nelson, 11 points from E'Twaun Moore, and 10 points, seven rebounds, and a game-high four steals from Glen Davis.

All three games will be televised on FS Florida, with Friday's game beginning at 7:00 pm, Saturday's game set for a 7:30 pm tip-off, and Sunday's game slated to start at 7:00 pm.
