Following a fourth-quarter rally that fell just short against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, the Orlando Magic travel to Sac-Town for a game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday at Sleep Train Arena.
Sacramento (5-12) is coming off a win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in a contest that saw all five starters finish in double figures. DeMarcus Cousins netted 25 points and 13 rebounds, Tyreke Evans had 23 points, Jason Thompson finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds, John Salmons recorded 12 points and seven assists, and Aaron Brooks notched 11 points.
The Magic (7-11) received 18 points and 12 boards from Glen Davis on Wednesday, while Jameer Nelson (17 points), Arron Afflalo (16 points), and J.J. Redick (14 points) also scored in double digits.
"We just have to start better. We’ve been starting better and (fatigue) is no excuse," Nelson said. "We have to come out more aggressive and more physical than we did in the first half. We have to sustain that the whole game."
Friday's game tips off at 10:00 pm on FS Florida.
