After suffering a 39-point beating at the hands of the Brooklyn Nets on Friday at the Amway Center, the Orlando Magic complete their home-and-home series with the Nets on Sunday at the Barclays Center.
The Nets (2-2) got double doubles from Andray Blatche (15 points, nine rebounds) and Brook Lopez (14 points, 10 rebounds), while Joe Johnson (13), Deron Williams (12), and Jerry Stackhouse (11) also finished in double figures.
The loss was the Magic’s third in a row, while Brooklyn’s victory ended a two-game losing streak.
“I think it was important with my actions and how I approached (Saturday’s practice). The demeanor that the coaching staff sets is important and we were all here and enthused about getting better, and we did,” Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. “You continue to be consistent and that’s the best thing that you can do. I learned that early in my career – not too high and not too low.”
Sunday’s tip-off is set for 3:00 pm on FS Florida.
