Following a pair of road losses, the Orlando Magic return to the site of their first victory of the season on Friday when they host the Brooklyn Nets at the Amway Center.
Brooklyn (1-2) has also lost its last two games after winning its opener. The visitors are led by Deron Williams’ 20.5 points per game and 8.5 assists per game. MarShon Brooks (14.8 PPG), Anthony Morrow (13.6 PPG), Kris Humphries (13.1 PPG), and Jordan Farmar (10.0 PPG) are also averaging double figures for the Nets.
The Magic (2-2) are receiving 17.8 PPG from both Glen Davis and J.J. Redick, the latter of whom is also dishing out 5.0 APG. Arron Afflalo (17.3 PPG), E’Twaun Moore (13.8 PPG), and Nikola Vucevic (10.5 PPG) are also scoring at least 10.5 PPG.
“We have to continue to share the basketball,” Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. “At the end of the day, that’s where our success lies. That includes sometimes drawing in a double team and creating for a teammate.”
Friday’s contest will tip-off at 7:00 pm on FS Florida.
