MAGIC 101

The Orlando Magic had one of their easiest games that they'll probably play all season. They jumped out to a 9-0 lead to start the game and never looked back. The Magic outscored the Wizards in every quarter, except the fourth, on their way to a 103-85 victory Wednesday night. They improved to 4-0 on the season at the Amway Center. 

Dwight Howard led the team with 28 points and 20 rebounds with a +/- of +23. Ryan Anderson had another great night with 23/15 and a +24. Orlando cruised to a fairly easy victory, as far as NBA victories go, tonight. Hedo Turkoglu and JJ Redick both finished the night with 14 points. John Wall, the stud PG for the Wizards, finished with 14 points and a -25 on the +/- scale.

The Magic host the Chicago Bulls Friday night at 8pm EST.

Big Ups: 

Dwight Howard returned to the 20/20 club with this victory so he's an easy choice for the Big Ups Award tonight. He finished on 11-13 shooting and 3 blocks, in addition to his 28 points and 20 boards.

Asi-Asi Award: 

Ryan Anderson could have easily won the Big Ups award on his 23 point, 15 board night that included 7-16 from the field and 3-5 from beyond the arc, but Howard earned the rights tonight based on his field goal percentage (fortunately for Howard, Free throw percentage was not included). 

Chris Duhon Award: 

Glen Big Baby Davis. 2-10 shooting and just 4 points in 25 minutes. Enough said.
